Job Summary

  • This role involves taking ownership of planned and reactive maintenance while ensuring robust statutory compliance at Gloucester Police HQ and Shepherds Road Fire & Rescue site.
  • The successful candidate will lead the on-site engineering team and manage M&E subcontractors to ensure all work is completed safely and to specification.

Must-have

  • Strong experience in Hard FM maintenance management
  • Hands-on knowledge of statutory fire and water regulations
  • Experience working to SFG20 standards
  • Understanding of lifecycle and project delivery in live environments
  • Working knowledge of BMS systems
  • Confidence leading engineers and managing subcontractors

Nice-to-have

  • Recognised technical qualification
  • Experience within PFI or complex contracts
  • Proven ability to drive improvements stick
  • Trusted deputy capability for Contract Manager

Key Requirements

  • Management level experience in Hard FM
  • Knowledge of SFG20 standards
