Job Summary

  • The Electrician will support the operation of the refinery through properly maintaining refinery electrical systems to support the refinery’s strategic business goals.

Base: Starting rate $54.91/hr in training; Max rate $56.89/hr with proficiency; Annual increases scheduled; Bonus/Equity: Discretionary company-sponsored annual bonus program; Benefits: Health, vision, dental insurance, paid time off, 401k matching, paid parental leave, educational reimbursement

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
  • Operate electrical testing equipment
  • Follow Lock out/Tag out procedures
  • Work with medium voltage switchgear
  • Use electrical one-line drawings and schematics
  • Adhere to electrical safe work practices
  • Perform preventative maintenance

Key Requirements

  • Minnesota Master or Journey worker Electrician License
  • 3 years of trade/relevant work experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC)
  • Pass pre-employment written, hands-on, and physical tests
  • Adhere to strict Drug and Alcohol policy
