Job Summary

  • This position is responsible for the improvement of housing outcomes in regards to populations with multiple complicated issues to include persons experiencing behavioral health needs in the Homeless Crisis Response System funded by Clark County.
  • Key responsibilities include ensuring homeless service providers have a housing with supportive services focus that also extends to persons with behavioral health needs, researching and staying knowledgeable on accepted and established best practices for housing persons with comorbidities that include behavioral health needs, providing technical assistance to contracted service providers and county staff regarding best practices in serving and housing persons with behavioral health needs, and improving the effectiveness of the continuum of care by identifying Clark County homeless system gaps in services to house people with complex issues with a special focus on behavioral health.
  • The position will provide training and technical assistance to homeless system providers and help them implement new innovative programs that work with the housing and behavioral health systems.
