Job Summary
The staff speech pathologists will provide in-patient and/or out-patient services focusing on functional skills to enhance development and restore function for children.
Evaluation, treatment, and home programming are provided for children with feeding disorders, articulation issues, voice problems, and receptive or expressive language disorders.
The position includes patient and caregiver education as well as consultation to other professionals within the Cook Childrens Health Care System and the community.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Pediatric speech and language therapy
Feeding and swallowing disorder treatment
Aural rehabilitation and auditory verbal therapy
Augmentative communication device evaluation
Patient and caregiver education delivery
Nice-to-have
Experience with cochlear implant patients
Collaboration with community agencies
Consultation skills for other professionals
Key Requirements
Masters degree in speech/language pathology
State license or eligible for state licensure
Certificate of Clinical Competency required within 12 months
