Job Summary

  • The mission of UCLA Family AIDS Network (UCLAFAN) is to facilitate access to medical care and support services by coordinating a network of culturally and linguistically competent community providers to work collaboratively to meet the needs of women, children, youth, and families living with HIV and AIDS.
  • Primary responsibility of the Academic Program Management Officer 3 is the fiscal and programmatic oversight of the LAFAN network and the development, design and recommended strategies or activities intended to improve performance in quality and compliance with Ryan White and County of Los Angeles funding requirements.
  • In this high visibility role, the selected candidate will work collaboratively with a wide variety of professionals, key partners, consumers, Network agency staff and other leaders in the community.

Key Requirements

  • Master’s degree in health administration, public health or public administration
  • 3-5 years' experience supervising professional and administrative staff
  • 5-7 years related work experience in public health, public administration, or health administration
  • Experience in the implementation of programs and managing and securing large grants ($500,000 per year)
  • Knowledge of Ryan White Title IV funding
