Job Summary

  • As Team Leader, you'll work with us to manage a small team of Technicians and you will take the lead on prioritising tasks and organising warranty repairs, whilst liaising with the customer to ensure train availability and reliability targets are achieved.
  • As Team Leader, you will be relied upon for technical support, working alongside a team of Technicians to diagnose faults and conduct root cause analysis for an advanced fleet across a range of systems (electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic), using a combination of electrical schematics, test equipment, and diagnostic software.

Key Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in electrical/ mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
  • Extensive post qualifying experience
  • Wide knowledge of on-board train systems
  • Experience in detecting faults and carrying out root cause analysis
  • Interpreting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematic diagrams
  • Proficient in using diagnostic software, and test and measuring equipment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Flexible approach to working varying shifts
