Job Summary

  • Serve as the lead technical expert for the design, deployment, and operationalization of Arista solutions in large-scale Data Center, Campus, and WAN environments for our large Cloud customers in the Pacific Northwest region.
  • Develop and implement network automation workflows using Python, Ansible, and other DevOps frameworks to streamline configurations and operations.
  • Partner with the Sales Engineering team by providing deep technical expertise during the evaluation and proof-of-concept (POC) stages.

Salary

Base: $113,000 to $175,000; Bonus/Equity: discretionary Arista bonuses and equity; Benefits: medical, dental, vision, wellbeing, tax savings and income protection

Must-have

  • Data Center, Campus, and WAN environments
  • Network automation workflows using Python, Ansible
  • Expert-level knowledge of core networking fundamentals
  • TCP/IP protocol stack, IP Routing (BGP, OSPF)
  • L2 switching (VxLAN/EVPN)
  • Customer-facing role, building trust and driving projects

Key Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in network engineering, consulting, or professional services
  • Demonstrated experience in a post-sales focused role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Network Industry Certification highly preferred
  • Experience with multi-vendor network migrations highly desirable
  • Demonstrable background and prior hands-on experience with network automation and scripting
