Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification
  • Texas professional nursing license
  • Two years clinical nursing experience
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS
  • Basic Life Support BLS certification

Nice-to-have

  • Cardiology or CV background preferred
  • Palliative care or hospice experience
  • Trauma life support ATLS certification
  • Family Nurse Practitioner with ACHPN
  • Commitment to compassionate care

Key Requirements

  • Graduate of approved Nurse Practitioner Program
  • Current Texas RN license required
  • National certification in Acute Care specialty
  • ACLS and BLS certifications mandatory
  • ATLS certification if practicing trauma
