Job Summary
The Clinical Lab Professional 3 will provide primary support to the Martha Morehouse Laboratory, and secondary support to ancillary James’ laboratory locations as needed.
The senior clinical laboratory professional performs specialized automated and manual laboratory procedures, verifies and reports test requests and results, and is directly responsible for the technical quality of tests performed in the laboratory.
Administrative duties include instrument technical requirements including validations, creation and execution of section competencies, section QA/QI responsibilities, technical procedure writing/implementation, assisting with scheduling, training and recordkeeping.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science or biological science
ASCP certification obtained within 1 year of hire
1 year of work experience as a Clinical Laboratory Professional at OSU Medical Center
Total years of service greater than or equal to 3 years preferred
