Set strategic direction for refinery product quality conformance and lab capability, serving as a technical resource for operational issues and implementing non-routine lab studies.
Ensure overall safe operation of the laboratory, including safety and chemical hygiene programs, and oversee routine and non-routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
10 years of laboratory testing experience
hands-on experience with instrumentation, test material, wet test methods, and ASTM testing processes
Able and willing to work on-site, in-person at the Valero Memphis Refinery
