Job Summary

  • Perform maintenance, audits, configuration, programming, installation/commissioning, upgrades, and migration of complex/advanced Honeywell distributed control systems.
  • Provide proactive maintenance support and drive asset optimization for individual customers, serving as a subject matter expert on Experion/TPS Systems and Migrations.
  • Assist Sales during sales pursuits, interface with customers at all levels, and collaborate with Global Technical Support to close customer issues.

Key Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic, Industrial, or related field
  • 6 years of field experience supporting Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
  • 6 years of DCS system configuration, testing, and maintenance
  • 2 years of DCS client server architecture and networking understanding
  • 2 years of DCS configuration, troubleshooting, and Ethernet-based communications expertise
  • Capability to perform seamless system migrations from legacy COAX to Ethernet-based DCS
  • Experience working as a Field Service Engineer at industrial plants
  • Experience in Virtualization hardware/software, setup, and network configuration
  • Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to design/engineer solutions to prevent recurring problems
  • Experience developing control algorithms
  • Experience with electronic and semiconductor components on printed circuit boards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Reading and interpreting process, instrumentation and electrical drawings
