Job Summary
As part of the US Lower 48 Upstream Research team, the Principal Analyst will monitor and assess key events and commercial developments across the upstream industry.
The role will require a desire to connect large datasets, leverage our team's valuations expertise and form opinions on the impact of corporate strategies, business environment, exploration, M&A deals, petroleum economics, government energy policy and regional geopolitics.
To play an integral role in expanding our commercial business in United States Lower 48, working very closely with commercial colleagues from the Sales and Consulting teams.

8+ years of onshore upstream sector experience
Engineering/Geosciences or Business/Economics degree
Upstream asset cashflow modeling experience
Discounted cashflow model experience
Upstream valuations understanding
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent data reading, manipulation and analysis skills
