Job Summary

  • As part of the US Lower 48 Upstream Research team, the Principal Analyst will monitor and assess key events and commercial developments across the upstream industry.
  • The role will require a desire to connect large datasets, leverage our team's valuations expertise and form opinions on the impact of corporate strategies, business environment, exploration, M&A deals, petroleum economics, government energy policy and regional geopolitics.
  • To play an integral role in expanding our commercial business in United States Lower 48, working very closely with commercial colleagues from the Sales and Consulting teams.

Key Requirements

  • Upstream asset cashflow modeling experience
  • Discounted cashflow model experience
  • Upstream valuations understanding
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent data reading, manipulation and analysis skills
