Job Summary

  • The AVP provides enterprise-wide leadership for the planning, coordination, and execution of ambulatory pharmacy operations, specialty pharmacy services, and PBM strategy across the health system.
  • This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives that advance clinical quality, operational efficiency, financial performance, and patient experience within specialty and ambulatory pharmacy services.
  • In partnership with the Chief Pharmacy Officer, the AVP develops and executes external ambulatory and specialty pharmacy strategy, including expansion of partnerships with health systems, employers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, payers, and other strategic organizations to support growth, prescription fulfillment, and enterprise pharmacy objectives.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Pharm D
  • PGY-1/PGY-2 ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Kentucky and Indiana Pharmacist License
  • 3+ years community pharmacy experience
  • 3+ years specialty pharmacy experience
  • 3+ years pharmacy management experience
