Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • BLS Certification required within 90 days
  • One year of prior health care experience preferred
  • Sentara Care Partner Certification Program
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
  • National Patient Care Technician (NCPCT)
  • Completion of US Navy Hospital Corps School
  • Emergency Services (EMR, EMS, EMT, AEMT, Paramedic)
  • Current student in clinical program (beyond prerequisites)
  • Current work experience as PCT or Nursing Assistant
