Job Summary

  • The position provides physics support for a customizable selection of modalities including radiographic, fluoroscopic, CT, ultrasound, mammographic, MR, or nuclear medicine/PET imaging.
  • Core responsibilities include acceptance testing, routine performance testing, quality assurance oversight, and ACR accreditation support across five medical centers and numerous outpatient clinics.
  • The successful candidate will join a growing academic health system group of six diagnostic/medical health physicists with access to state-of-the-art equipment.

Key Requirements

  • Graduate degree (MS, DMP, or PhD) in medical physics
  • At least two years clinical diagnostic radiology/nuclear medicine physics experience
  • Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Medical Physics from ABR
  • Valid driver's license and motor vehicle records check
  • PA State Police Criminal Background Check clearance
  • PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
  • Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check
