Eversource Energy is seeking a Manager of System Operations Procedures to oversee the development and governance of operational procedures across Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electric system operations, strong leadership skills, and a background in procedure writing

Job Summary

  • This position is accountable for the governance, lifecycle control, quality, standardization, prioritization, and publishing performance of System Operations procedures across CT, MA and NH.
  • Responsible for the development, revision, implementation, maintenance and control of standardized System Operations procedures that reflect current electric system configuration, operating practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversees development of staff, assesses the need for and oversees implementation of programs to ensure employees possess technical and behavioral skills required to support operating plans.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years related experience
  • 4 years experience as System Operator preferred
  • 5 years experience managing or supervising others
  • Ability to obtain NERC Transmission Operator certification within 6 months
