Job Summary

  • Oversee all aspects of the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) programs and provide leadership, resources, tools, and analytics to reduce/eliminate hospital-acquired infections, manage outbreaks/exposures and improve clinical practice.
  • Responsible for surveillance programs for both healthcare acquired infections and disease reporting including collection and analysis of relevant data and implementation of appropriate action plans to address related issues.
  • Ensures education and training for all facility and contracts staff in proper selection and use of PFE and job or task specific infection control practices.
