Job Summary

  • This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond.
  • As part of a small, hardworking, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, development, testing, and qualification of structures and mechanisms for New Glenn’s second stage and payload accommodations.

Key Requirements

  • B.S. degree in engineering
  • 3+ years of experience
  • aircraft, spacecraft, automotive, or launch vehicle structures or mechanisms experience
  • experience with mechanism development
  • experience with vehicle load path distribution
  • experience with material selection
  • Mechanical design experience using CAD
  • hand calculations, and FEA tools
  • experience in analysis matters
  • experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance analysis
  • Familiarity with ASME Y14.100 and Y14.41
