Job Summary
The Cleanroom Technician provides specialist technical support for research activities within the Blusson QMI Cleanroom and associated laboratories.
The role holder will monitor, maintain, repair, modify and strive to improve the facility infrastructure and assist with the installation of new tools as required.
Errors in judgement, mishandling of tools and neglect in following standard procedures could lead to the reduction of service available to the Institute affiliated UBC research groups and external users, cause damage to expensive equipment and endanger the technician’s own health and safety.
