Job Summary

  • With 75 years of experience, our focus is on helping the most vulnerable children overcome poverty and experience fullness of life.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes for the WALIP project and other assigned projects in North Kivu, ensuring compliance with donor and organizational standards.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and support audit and donor review preparations.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Grant management in NGO environment
  • Budgeting and forecasting for projects
  • Financial reporting and analysis
  • Compliance with donor requirements
  • Use of Sun Systems accounting software
  • Coordination with partners and stakeholders

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with USG funded projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work independently under pressure
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Knowledge of GAAP and WVI FPP
  • Organizational and analytical skills

Key Requirements

  • First degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA
  • Minimum 3 years grant management experience
  • Experience with USG funded projects
  • Proficiency in Sun Systems, Vision XL, Vision Executive
  • Knowledge of GAAP and grant accounting
