Venture Global LNG is seeking a Director of Production Engineering to oversee the transition of their facility from the EPC phase to operations, ensuring production targets are met safely and sustainably. The ideal candidate should possess significant experience in LNG production engineering and strong technical knowledge in hydrocarbon processes

Job Summary

  • This role reports to the SVP, Integrated Production Excellence and will be responsible for developing or progressing an Operational Readiness schedule to transition the facility from EPC to the operations phase.
  • Post transition, the role will be responsible for closely working with Production/Operations, Maintenance, Commercial Operations, Gas Supply and other Engineering disciplines to ensure that the safe and sustainable realization of facility production targets are met.
  • Understands all facets of Feed Gas Allocation, and LNG/NGL production, storage, and shipping.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Process Engineering
  • Ten to Fifteen (10-15) years demonstrable experience as a Production Engineer in an LNG liquefaction facility
  • Professional Engineer’s (PE) License or equivalent CEng license is preferred
  • Competent in use of specialized software including but not limited to PI, Process Book, Sigmafine, HYSYS, Pro-Treat, HTRI
  • Must maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card
