Job Summary

  • The Referral Services Specialist provides care coordination services evaluating options and services required to meet an individual's health care needs to promote quality outcomes.
  • The Referral Services Specialists works collaboratively with members of the Keck Referral Center team to assess the needs of an individual and family, facilitate the development of an interdisciplinary plan of care, and coordinate care across service sites.
  • Ensures appropriate transcription of incoming referrals, collection of medical records and minimum data sets, and completes other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • 3 years Healthcare experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, health administrative, or related field

  • Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant or LVN program
  • 1 year Scheduling, case management or utilization review experience
  • Certified Medical Assistant - CMA OR LVN valid California License
  • Fire Life Safety Training (LA City)
