The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction is seeking a Time/Leave/Payroll Consultant to provide centralized support for payroll and HR functions. The ideal candidate will assist employees with time and leave administration and must possess a relevant degree or equivalent experience
Job Summary
This position will provide assistance daily to DPI staff in time/leave/payroll administration.
Work closely with employees, supervisors, and mangers on work schedule rules, negative quota balances, shift premium, holiday premium pay, adverse weather, GAP hours, special bonus leave and compensatory time.
Work with Office of State Controller’s (OSC) HR-Payroll technical support team and management to implement system changes as they occur and working with management to incorporate those changes as needed into processes and training documents.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
