** Waverly Health Center is seeking a full-time Clinic Receptionist for its Breast Care unit, responsible for managing reception duties, scheduling appointments, and ensuring accurate patient data entry. The ideal candidate should possess strong clerical skills and preferably have experience in a medical setting. **

Job Summary

  • Responsible for the overall reception/secretarial duties of the clinic, including answering and transferring phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, interviewing patients to gather necessary information, and entering patient information into the computer system for registration purposes.
  • Greets the patient/family in a professional, friendly manner and collects necessary patient information including insurance cards, photo IDs, and health history forms.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of office supply ordering, applicable WHC and regulatory requirements, and monitors/acts on billing and other alerts.
