The N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is seeking a F&V Commodity Grading Supervisor responsible for overseeing area supervisors and ensuring compliance with USDA guidelines within the cooperative grading service. This position is exclusively open to current and former employees of the department and requires significant experience in agricultural commodity grading along with effective training and supervisory skills

Job Summary

  • This position oversees area supervisors ensuring quality personnel are available and are working in accordance with all USDA guidelines and standards.
  • This position will coordinate, organize and conduct training classes and seminars for employees on Farmers Stock/Milled Peanuts and varying commodities.
  • The N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services provides services that promote and improve agriculture, agribusiness, and forests; protect consumers and businesses; and conserve farmland and natural resources for the prosperity of all North Carolinians.
