Skills & Requirements
Must-have
10+ years Linux/Unix management experience
5+ years in a management role with reports
Red Hat/Oracle Linux fundamentals and troubleshooting
LVM concepts for creation, expansion, and removal
Networking concepts and troubleshooting skills
Storage tasks related to Linux and VMware
24/7 shift work and on-call rotation availability
Nice-to-have
AIX, HP-UX, and Solaris experience
Docker and Kubernetes knowledge
DevOps mindset with Puppet, Foreman, Ansible
Cloud experience specifically Azure
ITIL certification preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Key Requirements
BS or MS in Computer Science or 10+ years experience
10+ years managing Linux and Unix platforms
5+ years in a management role
Experience maintaining shift and on-call rotations
