This job performs prescribed Sonography procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision, competently performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and initiative.
Essential responsibilities include positioning patients, performing imaging procedures, analyzing results, taking action to resolve image quality issues, and entering/transmitting/reporting scan results.
The role involves reviewing patient history, educating patients, preparing and administering contrast media when ordered, and preparing equipment and supplies while implementing safety standards.
