Must-have

  • GTAW welding experience in aerospace
  • Pass AWS D17.1 Class A weld qualifications
  • Metallurgical knowledge and hand tool proficiency
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
  • Pass written math test and practical weld test

Nice-to-have

  • Leadership experience and willingness to mentor
  • Green/Black belt 5S certification
  • Experience with automated welding equipment
  • Technical coursework or AA technical degree
  • Confidence with large complex thick wall tubes

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • AWS D17.1 Class A certification
  • U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident status
  • Practical weld test proficiency (1F, 3F, 2G, 3G, 6G)
  • Background check clearance
