Job Responsibilities • Understand user’s business requirements and work with the vendor to identify system functional requirements. • Work with vendor to estimate effort, create schedule and development plan based on the system functional requirements. • Work with and get users agreement on the system functional requirements and development plan. • Work with vendors to create system specifications based on the system functional requirements. Review the system specifications created to ensure no missing design or lack of consideration. • Work with vendor to create internal linkage test cases. Review test cases created to ensure the proper test coverage. • Handover the test completed functionalities to the test management team and release management team. • Explain the functionalities and what has been tested. • Respond to inquiries on design etc. after the handover to other teams. • Manage work progress during development period, including vendors’ tasks and issues occurred during design, development, and testing. • Make suggestions proactively to improve productivity and maintainability. Share expertise by providing training and knowledge sharing sessions, contribute actively towards team development. Job Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent fields. • In-depth experience in Java related technologies with prior experience in data/interface mapping and troubleshooting. • Experience working with Oracle Weblogic, Linux and Oracle DB. • Experience in banking software development in payment domain will be added advantage. • Understanding of SWIFT MX messages with relevant knowledge in International Payments/ Fund Transfers / SWIFT-based systems. • Experience in analyzing information from stakeholders and map business requirements to existing processes to identify gaps and/or opportunities. • Able to create a software design blueprint based on a broad design concept, and business and user requirement
