Job Summary
Under the supervision of the RN, the Critical Care Room Technician assists the RN in patient care procedures and activities, checks equipment, maintains supply levels, and assures the availability of emergency equipment.
Performs 12-Lead EKG timely and effectively, sets up rooms for admissions, removes and cleans soiled equipment, and performs unit secretary/monitor tech roles.
Demonstrates and promotes compliance with infection control, legal and safety standards, and applies good verbal and nonverbal skills to achieve service goals of customer satisfaction and a positive work environment.
