GM China is seeking a Design Business Operation Manager for their Shanghai location to lead a team in managing complex design operations, including budgeting and compliance. Job Summary

  • This role manages budgeting and spending, vendor and procurement processes, facilities, safety and IT coordination, governance and compliance, and supports senior design leadership on planning, headcount, and strategic initiatives.
  • The role owns day-to-day operations for GM China Design, coordinating cross-studio activities, leading budget planning and forecasting, and managing end-to-end procurement for studio needs.
  • The successful candidate will support leadership on headcount planning, hiring coordination, onboarding, and basic workforce analytics, partnering with HR and leadership to coordinate engagement activities.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Engineering, or Design/business Management
