It is the responsibility of the cook to manage and operate the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
The cook must maintain the kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner and prepare tasteful meals including special diets accurately.
The job includes supervisory responsibilities, assisting with meal serving, and participating in the orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff.
