Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Respond to medical emergencies at arena events
  • Check BLS and ALS equipment prior to each event
  • File reports compliant with NYS DOH Regulations
  • Manage sick patients independently as a self-starter
  • Supervise EMS employees during assigned events

Nice-to-have

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills for documentation
  • Ability to work weekends and meet event requirements

Key Requirements

  • Online paramedic with at least 5 years continuous service to an ALS agency
  • NYS Certification as a Paramedic without disciplinary action
  • Maintain ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certifications throughout employment
  • Must have some weekend availability
  • Meet a two event a month work requirement when applicable
