Job Summary

  • This role on the data team will play an important part in contributing to the future of Current’s growth and serving data analytics and science needs of various teams at Current.
  • You will build Data Warehouse and Data Models at Current. Partnering with data analysts, data scientists and engineers to support their data modeling and reporting needs will enable you to be successful in this role.

Salary

Base: $170,000.00 - $220,000.00; Equity: Meaningful equity in the form of stock options; Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including 100% covered medical, dental, vision premiums

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Build data warehousing and data modeling strategy
  • Design and build data transformation pipelines
  • Implement scalable and easy to use data models
  • Support Looker as a primary data reporting tool
  • SQL and performance tuning expertise
  • Cloud environment experience (AWS or GCP)

Nice-to-have

  • Experience modeling data in dbt and Looker
  • Experience in Financial services
  • Experience with MPP databases
  • Experience in D2C domains

Key Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as data engineer or analytics engineer
  • Completed at least one full Data Warehouse development cycle
  • 3+ year of experience building metrics, reports and dashboards in BI tools
  • Programming experience in Python, Scala or other language(s)
