JobSummary The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of Housekeeping Attendants in ensuring that the rooms, front and back of the house are cleaned and maintained in accordance with the hotel standards and that all defects are reported and rectified. Job Responsibilities Supervise Housekeeping Attendants to ensure adherence to the hotel's operational standards. Ensure that all guestrooms, corridors, and service areas are clean and hygienic. Inspect ready guestrooms to confirm they are clean, well-prepared, and ready for guest check-in. Conduct regular inspections to identify any maintenance issues, cleanliness concerns, or defects, and report these to the appropriate departments. Maintain and track records of deep-cleaned guestrooms to ensure proper rotation and scheduling of cleaning cycles. Ensure the proper upkeep and efficient use of housekeeping equipment and supplies, including linen inventory. Communicate guestroom status updates promptly. Provide ongoing on-the-job training for Housekeeping Attendants. Monitor staff performance and offer coaching and counselling when needed. Be hands-on in cleaning the guestrooms and public area when necessary. Undertake any other tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be required for the needs of the business and to fulfil your role
