Job Summary
The Shift Engineer forms part of the Technical team service provided under the contract, operating on a 4 days on 4 days off shift pattern including call out.
This role offers the opportunity to provide efficient and effective control of work services, supporting projects, operational activities, and small works across the BP portfolio.
Training and professional development will be a key part of the role and overall package, with a focus on further upskilling in areas such as Authorised Person (AP) responsibilities, isolations, and other key disciplines.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Fault find LV / ELV control systems
Isolation of Plant and management
HVAC systems and fundamentals
React to breakdown maintenance requests
Power, UPS, CPS, distribution, cooling
Building management systems experience
Nice-to-have
Thermographic understanding preferred
Continuous improvement culture experience
CDM/ Permit to work process understanding
Key Requirements
Minimum of 5 yrs experience
Recognised Apprenticeship and Qualifications
City & Guilds or equivalent in an Engineering, Electrician qualifications
SMSTMS / IOSH / NEBOSH certification desirable
Manager or supervisory experience of contractors
Competent operator of Permit to Work systems
Computer literate, familiar with MS Office Applications
