Job Summary

  • The Director of Staff Development is responsible to plan and implement facility orientation, job skills training, in-service education, and a Certification Training Program for nursing assistants.
  • Work with the Director of Nursing and Administrator to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
  • The DSD also provides direct resident/patient care and supervises staff, including taking or assisting with appropriate disciplinary measures.
