  • This is structure and craft work involving life safety monitoring related to security, access, and occupancy standards; operating mechanical and computerized systems; and troubleshooting malfunctions and abnormalities of a large number of buildings and facilities statewide.
  • Work includes receiving, organizing, and relaying information, instructions, and requests; dispatching people and equipment; operating a central computerized system to monitor and control environmental conditions, electrical and mechanical equipment, fire, HVAC systems, and building access; scheduling and tracking system preventative maintenance and testing; and developing reports and recommendations linked to achieving safe and efficient building operations.
