Job Summary
The Master has the overall responsibility managing the safety and environmental preventive requirements on all aspects of the vessel and ensuring that all key shipboard operations are identified, risk assessed and mitigated.
Responsible for implementing the Company's policies and Safety Management System, motivating the crew in the observation of such policies, issuing appropriate orders and instructions in a clear and simple manner, verifying that the requirements of the SMS are complied with and reviewing the system and reporting any deficiencies.
