Key Requirements

  • Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certification required
  • 3 years of PICU RN experience preferred
  • Successfully passed state boards or active licensure
  • Master’s degree or higher from an accredited school
  • Two (2) years of relevant clinical experience preferred
  • Licensure in the State of Illinois as an APRN/PA required
  • Clinical privileges through credentialing by the Medical Staff Office achieved within 90 days of hire
  • Basic Life Support certification required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification required within 6 months
