Job Summary

  • The EMEA SME Actuarial team is seeking an experienced and motivated actuarial professional to contribute to AIG’s strategic initiatives in this segment.
  • This role will support both the existing SME portfolios across the EMEA region as well as the launch of new products in new territories.

  • Conduct price adequacy reviews
  • Develop, calibrate, implement rating tools
  • Develop new SME & Flow products

  • Thought leadership into profitability

  • Peer reviewer of reserve reviews
  • Challenge actuarial work and processes
  • Review capital requirements and projections
  • Collaborate with regional actuarial functions
  • Adherence to risk management framework

Key Requirements

  • FIA, FCAS or strong equivalent actuarial background
  • Extensive P&C experience
  • Experience in relevant or similar actuarial role
  • Fluent in English
  • Proven leadership, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, VBA, SQL
  • Manage a team of 1-2 actuaries
