Job Summary
The Inpatient Staff Occupational Therapist will provide services to enhance development, restore function, and prevent disability in children with various conditions in an acute medical setting.
The position includes evaluation, treatment, home programming, and fabrication of splints for children with musculoskeletal, neurological, sensory processing, hematology, oncology, and neuromuscular disorders.
The OT will provide therapy for chronically ill patients with lengthy hospital stays and offer education and consultation to caregivers and medical professionals within the healthcare system and community.
