** Lakeside Post Acute is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to oversee and implement infection control programs in a long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, particularly in infection control, and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health regulations and promoting a safe environment for residents. **

Job Summary

  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, coordinate, and direct our infection control program in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern such requirements in nursing care facilities.
  • Develop, maintain, and periodically update infection control precautions and aseptic technique that successfully correct problem areas.
  • Prepare monthly summaries of all resident/personnel infections, corrective action taken, and the results of the corrective action.
