Job Summary
The role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing Business Intelligence solutions for TransUnion using SQL Server 2017, supporting BI tools and Microsoft Fabric.
The position involves collaborating across the organization as a technical expert and mentoring junior data engineers on BI and data warehouse best practices.
This is a hybrid position requiring regular virtual work and at least two days per week in-person at an assigned TransUnion office.

Must-have
Advanced knowledge of T-SQL and SQL Server
Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Familiarity with BI technologies like SSAS and SSRS
Experience with Microsoft Fabric
Ability to produce and run unit tests
Experience in data warehouse design
Strong problem solving and debugging skills

Experience with REST based API
Experience with cloud technologies

Mentoring and training junior engineers
Familiarity with Agile and modern development practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Key Requirements
Education to degree level or higher in relevant discipline preferred
Microsoft Certification in relevant technology preferred
At least 5 years’ experience in business intelligence or data engineering
Fluent English with excellent communication skills
