The Data Center Facility Operator reports to the Data Center Facility Manager within IT Services and is primarily responsible for monitoring critical data center infrastructure, including environmental systems such as power and cooling, to ensure uninterrupted operations.
The Operator will act as a central dispatcher during issues affecting campus systems and services, managing incoming trouble tickets, chat communications, and phone calls, and is responsible for triaging and forwarding these issues to the appropriate technical staff.
