Job Summary

  • The Outage Project Engineer will provide technical support to Baker Hughes internal customers in preparation of critical shutdowns, working in accordance with internal guidelines, embracing customer’s requests with a proactive approach.
  • The OPE will collaborate with other teams within Service Engineering and Service to improve collection of Lesson Learned, to share best practices, to expedite issue resolution, to promote a continuous improvement of maintenance activities.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Advanced knowledge of Baker Hughes portfolio
  • Knowledge of turbomachinery products
  • Knowledge of outage executions and maintenance events
  • Ability to understand P&ID, drawings, parts lists
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
  • Past site experience as Field Service Engineer or similar
  • Willingness and ability to travel 10%
