Spire Energy is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner based in St. Louis, MO, responsible for consulting with leaders across various business units and providing comprehensive HR support. The role requires expertise in employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws, while promoting an inclusive workplace culture

Job Summary

  • This position will be responsible for consulting with local and regional leaders within Spire's Field Operations and Finance business units, providing guidance and support to the business across all areas of Human Resources.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues, conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations including claims of discrimination and harassment.
  • Assist with labor relations initiatives, assuring compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and NLRB legislation, including contract preparation, negotiations, and interpretation.

Key Requirements

  • 5 years of similar experience in an HR Business Partner role
  • 5-7 years of similar experience in an HR Generalist role
  • HR experience supporting all levels of leadership
  • Experience supporting a unionized workforce preferred
  • SPHR/PHR Certification preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required
