Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Routine preventative maintenance on buses
  • Diagnosing mechanical electrical hydraulic faults
  • Working with engines transmissions brakes suspension
  • Completing repairs using diagnostic equipment
  • Preparing vehicles for MOT regulatory inspections

Nice-to-have

  • Bus or coach experience desirable
  • Full UK driving licence PCV preferred
  • Willingness to obtain PCV licence
  • Flexibility for occasional overtime weekend work
  • Team player working independently when required

Key Requirements

  • Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
  • Proven experience as a Fitter or Technician on heavy goods vehicles
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across multiple systems
  • Full UK driving licence (PCV preferred)
  • High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
