Job Summary
Provide applied geologic expertise in support of Department of Defense and Intelligence Community requirements across the U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) Area of Responsibility.
Conduct geological analysis related to terrain, soils, bedrock, hydrology, geomorphology, and environmental conditions, and render into digestible information that can be understood by AFRICOM leadership.
Support time-sensitive and long-term projects by evaluating subsurface and environmental factors that affect mobility, construction feasibility, resource availability, and operational risk in austere and developing environments.
