Job Summary

  • The Quality Control Engineer accomplishes the company’s quality control/assurance objectives by overseeing worker training requirements, quality work assignments, communicating job expectations, and working with Rolling Stock management to effectively planning, monitoring, and measuring job & project performance against Rolling Stock’s contract requirements, while enforcing the company’s policies and procedures.
  • The Quality Control Engineer ensures that all materials, components, and services provided by suppliers meet Hitachi Rail’s quality standards and contractual requirements.

Key Requirements

  • 3-5 years or more of experience in quality control
  • Experience or training in Process Controls and/or Improvement
  • ISO 9001:2015 Quality Requirements
  • 2-year, 4-year, or higher college degree preferred
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification preferred
